Hiraeth

These are a series of illustrations representing my longing for the place I was born. The welsh word “hiraeth”, means a longing for the motherland, that being Wales. I created the illustrations to feel a connection to the place I was born. The landscapes of Wales and the rich folklore and history, have and will continue to inspire my paintings.
